Severe weather is possible Sunday as pop-up storms are possible across the area in the afternoon hours.

A few questions we have to ask are; will we get enough instability through the morning to support these storms? The answer to this is, yes, we likely will.

Short-range models show a surface CAPE of 700-2,500 J/Kg by 1 PM. There looks to be a limited to non-existent CAP in the afternoon. Any storms that are able to develop will have the chance to live for a good while, and support hail and strong winds.
