Highs Tuesday will be in the upper-70s / lower-80s across the area with dewpoints in the lower/mid-60s (yuk).

Shower development is possible along the NC/TN border and generally south of I-40 around the afternoon before making a jump north for everyone’s enjoyment. SWVA could be saved though; hard to forecast summer storms.

LCLs aren’t impressive along with *much* shear but development does look (somewhat) likely. Maybe small hail for the lucky ones.

Clouds will come and go making for a partly / mostly cloudy day.
