Rain returns for our Monday/Tuesday. No washout.

June 6, 2022June 6, 2022 GreeneWXForecast

Showers and a rumble or two are possible west of I-75 Monday night into Tuesday morning before moving east, which will cause them to fall apart before reaching the TN/NC border.

NAM3k

Rainfall amounts will remain low areaa-wide. Areas west of I-75 could see amounts between 0.3-0.7″ with locally higher amounts. Our eastern counties should see none to half an inch.

WPC 48h

Strong/severe weather is not expected as we will remain capped through their nighttime hours. Inversion is possible, which could carry thunder longer and louder.

We are looking at the chance for showers or possibly a rumble or two later tonight – mainly west of I-75. Showers are also possible overnight for NE TN, but these showers will fall apart moving east. Intense/severe storms are not expected as we will be (moderately) capped. pic.twitter.com/4n8YUC8bi4
